Participate from home to help build a next-generation patient registry that keeps you linked to your samples, clinical information, and other contributions, powering research to improve care for everyone with MG.

About this study

Impactful science depends on keeping participants informed and involved.

AminoChain is launching an at-home study to create a next-generation, connected patient registry that links your samples, disease history, and genomic data into a living virtual biorepository that pairs clinical information with stored materials to enable deeper, more useful research into Myasthenia Gravis (MG).

Grounded in transparency and supported by privacy first technology, this study will give participants a clear window into how their contributions are used, providing the foundation for staying informed and meaningfully engaged as the science advances.

Participants will stay connected to their contributions, receive study updates, and be part of the journey to better understand MG.

Who Can Participate

You may qualify if you are:

18 years and over and live in the United States

Have a confirmed diagnosis of Myasthenia Gravis (MG)

Willing to self-collect a small blood sample at home using an approved device

The study is also enrolling a small group of healthy controls matched by age and sex.

Age

18 years and over

Diagnosis

Myasthenia Gravis (MG)

Residence

United States

Compensation

Up to 250$

What To Expect

Upon enrollment, participants will be guided to provide small at-home blood sample for immune and genetic analysis. The data will help identify biomarkers that could inform future diagnostic tools and therapies.

Myasthenia Gravis (MG) & Study FAQ

What is Myasthenia Gravis (MG)?

Myasthenia Gravis is a rare autoimmune disorder that disrupts nerve-to-muscle communication, causing muscle weakness and fatigue in the eyes, face, throat, and limbs. MG occurs when immune system antibodies target receptors needed for muscle contractions, such as the acetylcholine receptor (AChR).
